Miles & miles of corn and I think it multiplies by the hour. I don't remember all this corn - surely we're not using all of it for syrup or gas. Really, it's kind of scary - 1,000 miles of corn.
After 2 days of driving - we're in Rapid City, South Dakota...just outside the Black Hills. We'll be here until Friday morning, when we head to Sheridan to meet Laura & Kim and family.

A glass of wine, a view from the porch of your cabin, the nickering of horses from way up on Speedway, and the wide-eyed wonder of two little boys and a young European seeing the high plains and Big Horn Mountains for the first time... all that will soon put all the corn and road weariness behind you.
ReplyDeleteAs the driver of this trip, don't know if I hav 23 miles!!e the "Orange Barrel" blues or the stimulus blues but there is construction everytwhere=especially enjoyed the truck going 40 in a 65 mph zone for 23 miles! Grr
